Martin Mozer

Martin Mozer was born in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. He studied journalism at Comenius University in Bratislava and worked for various newspapers in Slovakia and Czech republic. He is a specialist on British-Irish relations. He has covered all the major events in Northern Ireland in late 90-ties. Since he worked for private Slovak television TV JOJ, he produced stories and documentaries about persecution from the period of Communism and Nazi rule. He received several journalism awards. He is the author of the book "Quarter-century on the run" about a man, who was a prominent political prisoner during the commnunist era and later became public enemy No. 1 of the new regime. He is also the director of "Forgotten children express", a documentary film about a special group of Jewish boys from Bratislava that joined Kindertransport to England, in which he also discovered unknown Rescuer of Jews and human rights defender Aron Grünhut
